We are delighted to confirm that we have now appointed a new Area Sales Manager for the South West patch, and welcome Ian Bloomfield to the Therapy Equipment UK Sales team. 
 
Ian comes from a lengthy medical background, both in Nursing and Medical Sales, so should be able to assist you with all your Suction, Oxygen Therapy requirements. 
 
He will be visiting all Hospitals in his area as soon as possible, however if you would like to contact him or see him sooner, his details are as follows:

Simon Hall, our previous Area Sales Manager for the South West, has decided to move on, and therefore left our services with effect from 30th June 2019. 
 
We will be working hard on finding a suitable replacement, however until we do so, the patch will be covered by the Office (01707 652270). If you require a visit, we are able to call on the services of two existing representatives - Dave Evenden (07711 749754) will cover the south coast, and Jason White (07889 173109) will cover the northern part of the patch.

In May 2019, Therapy Equipment Limited was sold in a transaction which saw the founding owners transfer the full share capital of the company to a new UK based private owner, compromising a small number of individual investors with healthcare and entrepreneurial backgrounds. 
 
The new owner is excited about the opportunity to build upon the strong foundation and quality product and service reputation developed by the Munn family over many years. There is a commitment to grow the company in the UK and overseas whilst retaining the high level of customer service for which Therapy Equipment Ltd is renowned. 
 
The new owners are grateful to Steve and Dave Munn for agreeing to help oversee a period of transition over the coming months which will ensure a seamless change from the previous ownership to the new ones. 
 
The business will remain at its HQ in Potters Bar and for most customers and partners, the message is very much one of “business as normal”.

We were delighted to work with the Betsi Cadwaladr Univeristy Health Board, in supplying the Suction, Oxygen Therapy requirements with the new £14 Million Emergency Department redevelopment at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor. 
 
The new development creates more capacity to deal with peaks in demand, while improving the environment for patients,  
staff and visitors alike. 
We were delighted to work with University Hospital Coventry in replacing all Suction, Oxygen Therapy equipment within  
Walsgrave Hospital, Coventry and Hospital of St Cross, Rugby. 
 
The devices were replacements for the old Style Therapy Suction, Oxygen Therapy originally supplied when the PFI Hospital  
was completed in 2006, and were delivered/installed between October - December 2018. 
We were pleased to work with Northampton General Hospital in equipping the new £12 Million Emergency Assessment Unit. 
 
This development has been built on the site of the A&E Car Park and houses a new 62 Bed Two Storey building.  
Following a £8.8 Million cash boost, the Royal Stoke University Hospital developed a new 64 bed, two storey unit. 
 
We were delighted to continue our long standing relationship with the customer and supplied the Suction Controllers and O2 Flowmeters required. 
Although it doesn't open for a few months yet, we were delighted to work with Scottish Healthcare Supplied in equipping the new  
Royal Hospital for Children, in Edinburgh. 
 
This new £150 Million developement, has 242 beds, 60% of which are Single/Ensuite. The new development aims to maintain the 
150 Year history and heritage of the Royal Hospital for Sick Chidrens, or 'Sick Kids' as it is more commonly called, and has Paediatric  
Care Specialist Neonatal Care, Neuroscience and Adult & Children's Emergency Departments. 
Therapy Equipment Ltd has been the preferred supplier at Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore for many years, and were therefore  
pleased to work with the Hospital in the supply of the SOT required within the 1st Phase of the redevelopment. 
 
The new inpatient facility, which incorporates 91 beds (50% single beds) is the first phase in the long term plans for redeveloping the existing site.  
Many of the existing buildings date back to before the Second World War.  
We are very sorry to confirm that Trevor Astley, our Area Sales Manager for the North East, has decided to move on. 
 
Trevor's existing patch will be covered by our existing representatives, Jacqui Kearney (07702 241077) and Kate Craven (07831 761160) for the  
forseeable future.
